Three reasons to consider the Treasure Valley Church of Christ

Bible-Based

This may sound obvious - and many churches claim it - but for us the Bible is the center of everything we believe and do.

Small Church, Big Heart

Our small size (under 100) means you won't get lost. Big hearts means that you will find a caring body of believers committed to growing together.

Diversity

We support a mission church in Luwero, Uganda and a school for orphans on Ssese Island, expressing our commitment to Jesus' great commission (Matthew 28).

WELCOME to the Treasure Valley Church of Christ

Welcome to the Treasure Valley Church of Christ! What began in 1993 with 10 devoted disciples of Jesus has grown into a congregation of 70 adults and 25 children. From the very beginning, our mission has been to courageously lead people to Christ. We are committed to helping each other lead lives devoted to Jesus through vibrant worship, small growth groups across the Treasure Valley, and community outreach.

Regardless of where you are in your spiritual journey, you will receive a warm welcome, relevant teaching, and opportunities to grow.  Whether you are interested in visiting one of our services, attending a special event or seminar, or meeting with a small group of Christians that live nearby, we hope you will give us the opportunity to meet you.

If you have questions not answered here, please contact a member of our Welcome Committee (below) or a member of our ministry staff. We would love to assist you in any way we can.

For His Glory,

Frank and Julie Williams
Senior Minister and Women's Ministry Leader

In case you were wondering

Is this the church for me?

Absolutely! No matter who you are, where you live in the Treasure Valley, or where you are spiritually, we believe you'll quickly find a home in our fellowship. We welcome folks of every culture, race and background into our diverse fellowship.

Wondering where you will fit? We have many ministries, from campus and singles, to a married ministry, to a vibrant family group for the over-50 set. We believe in providing practical training and help for every station of life.

What do you believe?

We are deeply committed to the two greatest commandments—to love the Lord God with all your heart and to love your neighbor as yourself. Individually and collectively, our desire is to seek God and the Spirit's guidance for our lives. We seek to be real-life Christians, meaning that you can be yourself, admit your struggles, and know that you are in a fellowship of others seeking to do the same.

We are associated with the International Churches of Christ, meaning that we have a rich fellowship of other believers all around the world.

HELPFUL HINTS for your visit

Where are you located?

We are grateful to the Riverside Community Church who share their building with us. It is located at 1450 N Ten Mile Rd. in Meridian (near the corner of Ten Mile and Cherry Lane).  We meet on Sundays at 4:00 pm.

We believe that God's church is made up of people living all over the Treasure Valley. With that in mind, we have family groups that meet all over the valley, and host events on the BSU campus.

See upcoming events on our home page for specifics for this week's events and locations.

What's expected of first-time visitors?

You can look forward to meeting warm, friendly people, but you won't be singled out. Please don't feel obligated to participate in our weekly offering or communion unless you desire to. Just relax and enjoy connecting with God and others.

What should I wear?

When you come to our service you will find people wearing everything from jeans to suits. Please wear what you feel comfortable worshipping God in. We believe you'll feel completely welcome - whether you're casually dressed or in your "Sunday best."

What are your services like?

We would describe our services as worshipful, energetic and loving. A typical service lasts from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, including lots of singing/worship, a reflective communion message and a practical lesson.

On Wednesday nights, we alternate men's nights, women's nights, and meeting in family groups, allowing us to meet a variety of needs.

We take advantage of the beautiful scenery of Boise, and host many outdoor services, activities and barbeques in the warmer months. We have a morning service from time to time. Check out our calendar to double check where we are meeting.

What about my kids?

We love children and make it a high priority to provide a fun and stimulating experience for our children that we call "Kingdom Kids."

How do I become a member?

God desires us to follow Jesus individually, and as a unified body of believers. We ask each member of our body to be committed to worship, to participate in a small growth group, and to find an area of service.

We offer an introductory Bible study series that can be done in your home. You will learn about discipleship and the New Testament church, while personally applying Jesus' calling to your own life. For more information, contact the welcome committee (below).
